NeCo [@_RegularGuy]

NeCo, 19, a New York based rapper (from White Plains), started expressing himself lyrically around 5th or 6th grade, but started getting serious with music his freshman year of high school. He started releasing tracks and putting himself out for the masses his junior year of high school. Post graduating high school, he attended St. John’s University (where J. Cole attended) for 2 years, then he stopped so he could put his focus on music. “I let the music speak for itself,” say NeCo, in regards to trying to describe what kind of artist he is. Inspired by Common, Lupe fiasco, 2 Pac, Biggie, and Pun, NeCo hopes to increase in talent and creativity. His focus, right now, is helping the group that he is apart of, but within the next couple of months, all of his music will be available online. NeCo’s plan for the immediate future is to drop a couple more videos and his mixtape (which he plans to drop with DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar or DJ Cannon). Not wanting to have the pressure to continuously put out music at an older age but still be in the limelight, he hopes to one day have a similar career to Lil Wayne when it comes to Young Money.
