As I’ve been interviewing California based clothing lines and designers I came across this one that stood out. Oh Man! Clothing was created by a guy named Nam. The line was originally created in the Bay Area. They re-located to the L.A. and Orange County area.
Nam started Oh Man! Clothing back in 2009 after he graduated from high school. It was his way of portraying his passion and love for fashion and urban street wear. He felt that as a lover of fashion he wasn’t getting enough from the industry. So he decided to go ahead and start his own line. Starting Oh Man! Clothing was a way for Nam to express not only is artistic creativity but also himself.
He’s always had a thing for art and business. With Oh Man! Clothing it’s obviously showcasing both talents. I’m not one to wear urban clothing or never quite understood why there are so many of the same clothing lines out there. But with this one I can’t help but creep on their blog, browse their online store and purchase a few things myself. Oh Man! Clothing does more than other lines I’ve come across in California.
I love when someone this young has such passion and drive to pursue their artistic dreams. With so many people with the same dream Oh Man! Clothing has made it’s mark and I’m sure they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
